Ipecac for Night Choking Cough-Followup on 18-month old boy cough

The child was getting severe coughing episode at night. The child was chilly and thirstless. Mother was advised to give Ipecac 30c in three times at 10 minute and this worked great for him and he had only a short spell of cough during night. No fever the following day. Active and playful. No blood upon coughing is seen. Mother is very apperciative of care. She is advised to exposure to cold as this cause aggravation.
